The primary role of Mallard Cove is to serve patients whose healthcare needs include post-acute rehabilitation services. Our patient-centered philosophy ensures that care provided is individualized and is responsive to the patients’ needs and goals. Responsibilities

 

Maintain residents’ medical records in accordance with facility policies and with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

ART preferred.

•Two years experience as a Medical Records Coordinator in a long-term care facility preferred.

•Must have training and/or certification or experience as required by the state.

•Must have the ability to read and write English, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

•Must maintain regular attendance.

•Must meet all federal, state and local health regulations and pass a post-employment-offer physical exam.  This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiries.

•Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees.

•Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
