    This position performs various accounting functions for Atrium Centers Inc. and its related entities.  Primary responsibilities include financial statement account reconciliations, maintenance of fixed assets records, completion of bank reconciliations, and assistance with various other accounting and tax functions.  Assigned duties must be completed within established timeframes and in conformance with Atrium Centers Inc. group policies and procedures.


    • Prepare monthly bank and other financial account reconciliations
    • Maintain company fixed asset files and depreciation/amortization schedules
    • Prepare and file sales and use tax, excise tax, and commercial activity tax returns.
    • Assist with internal procedures review and compliance testing.
    • Assist with preparation of various tax return work papers.
    • Assist with annual CPA, Medicare, Medicaid and HUD audits and reviews
    • Assist with yearly budget completion and periodic budget revisions
    • Assist with yearly Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports preparations
    • Prepare & file annual property tax returns
    • Additional duties as assigned




    • Must be able to speak, write, type, read and comprehend the English language
    • Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds, sit, bend, stand, walk, and have manual dexterity
    • Requires ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with contacts within and outside of the organization
    • Requires ability to work both independently and within a relatively small team environment necessitating collaboration and coordination with other department members
    • Subject to frequent interruptions
    • Must develop excellent working knowledge in the following software applications:
      o Intacct (company general ledger software)
      o FAS
      o Excel
      o Word
      o E-Mail
    • Strong ethical foundation for making decisions and maintaining confidentiality
    • Occasional travel may be required


    • 1-3  Years. 
    • Will consider new college graduates.
